I will be at Briar Patch Marketplace Saturday and Sunday, December 1st and 2nd, at Hamilton High School on Arizona Avenue in Chandler. I have lots of stockings, fabric candy canes, bunting banners and other Christmas goodies. Here's what I am working on right now, a primitive snowglobe of sorts:
There will be lots of vendors with lots of decorations and gifts. I hope you will all stop by and see us!

Just wanted to show you one of the Christmas projects I am working on:
These glitter Christmas bulbs are so fun! They are regular Christmas bulbs covered with glitter. I "painted" each bulb with Mod Podge and sprinkled glitter over them. Here's another shot of the blue:
I've also done some red ones:
Here's another shot of the red ones, drying on a tray:
These can be strung on a garland or placed in a transparent container. I have some nice vases for them, and then they just need a ribbon bow!
I will have these and much more at the Briar Patch Marketplace at Horizon High School on Arizona Ave. on Saturday and Sunday, December 1st and 2nd. Come by and visit!

I am working hard on lots of Christmas projects, including stockings, fabric candy canes and fabric Christmas trees. I also mixed up
a new dye color, and I think it turned out really pretty. This is Vintage Red:
I am working on a new project, too. My friend, Tricia Samsal of Vintage Bliss, taught me how to work with wax on canvas, and I am putting my own spin on it:
You can't tell it in the picture, but there is just enough glitter on the canvas to make it sparkle subtly.
Starshine Salon is always at Merchant Square in Chandler (space 74). I will be at the Country Barn Boutique in Queen Creek on November 16th and 17th and at Briar Patch Marketplace at Hamilton High in Chandler on December 1st and 2nd! Come see me!

I had a wonderful time last Saturday as a vendor at the Mesa Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Exchange.
This was a chance for people to sell new or gently used paper crafting supplies. The event was held at the same time as and only a few steps away from the Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Expo. It was a marvelous opportunity for buying and selling, and I did both!
I brought lots of vintage goodies, plus some of my favorite Cosmo Cricket products, and my hand dyed fibers:
After I got set up and before the show started, I did a little shopping. There was a great selection, and the prices were unbelievable! I got stamps, embossing folders, Sizzix dies, chalks, book kits and a bunch of other fun stuff!
The vendors were great. Some were local and others had traveled from out of state to participate. The customers were great, too! I met so many nice people and really enjoyed talking to everyone about their crafty ideas and projects.
If you are considering participating in this sale in the future, as a seller or a shopper, I do recommend it. Everything went very smoothly from signup to setup. The promoter answered my emails quickly and greeted me personally when I arrived. Cool water was provided in the lobby and there were door prizes throughout the day.
A similar event is tentatively planned for Glendale in the spring, and for Mesa next fall. Check out the Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Exchange Facebook page for updates.
